They have recently put some security barriers around the entrance . Making it hard for people to enter and exit the store. You won’t believe the amount of people I see seeing the new barriers and choosing not to shop there anymore. I even over heard a group of elderly women having trouble exiting the shop and had to ask a member of staff to help them. The security guard also harass you if you don’t want to buy anything to bad the person that created this is made it feel like an average shopping experience now turns into a maze where you will spend 5 to 15 minutes trying to leave . I thought that Sainsbury’s was a middle class company but now they treat us like we are dogs. Nothing is explained to you even the electric guns i cant tell you how many times I had to help someone with them .A sign saying how to uses the system is a good start. With more people manning the normal check out line and getting rid of some of the self checkout lines. My question is to the management is what happened who had a power trip and think that this was a good idea your staff are working hard and you chose to do this shame on you

Very poor shopping experience today. First there were no cucumbers! I asked a grumpy member of staff where they were and he just snarled: “finished”. Not a word of apology. Since when are cucumbers exotic goods?? Or is the Cucumber Buyer off sick?? Well this put me into a bad mood straightaway, and the rest of my visit was no better. As I tried to navigate the store there were multiple trolleys blocking each aisle; almost out-of-date bread still on the shelves (presumably dry as sawdust); and then a lengthy wait at the “smart” checkout until the poor woman supervising a dozen tills all on her own could complete an age verification check… She was at least deeply apologetic and I told her not to worry; she clearly needed some help. But I left Sainsbury’s thinking: what a *hideous* place to have to do your weekly shop. To say nothing of the devastating drabness. It looks about as inviting as a Soviet food store in the 1980s!! Get a grip Sainsbury’s. Wandsworth deserves so much better.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sainsbury’s Wandsworth is a spacious superstore conveniently located opposite Southside Shopping Centre. It boasts a large clothing section upstairs with a good variety of styles, perfect for picking up some wardrobe essentials while doing your grocery shop. The store is well-stocked, and the cafe is a pleasant surprise with affordable, tasty options and ample seating. Parking is a breeze—spend £10 in-store, and you get free parking for up to 2 hours, validated at the till or customer service desk (just enter your registration at the machine). Tip: Check the store’s website for bank holiday parking hours, as they may vary. Despite some reviews mentioning long queues and occasional stock issues, I found the staff helpful and the shopping experience smooth.
