My mother began denture treatment at The Smile Studios in Heston on 12 December 2025 and was told her dentures would be ready for fitting on 5 January 2026. Unfortunately, this turned into nearly three months of repeated appointments with no proper resolution. At every visit, the dentures required “major adjustments,” and she was told to return the following week. This cycle continued throughout January and February. When she finally received them, they were still falling out while she spoke. She was advised to use glue instead of being provided with properly fitted dentures despite paying in full for the treatment. The dentures also cut the inside of her mouth and caused significant discomfort. She was asked to attend yet another appointment to be shown how to remove them safely, but after arriving early and waiting 45 minutes (25 minutes past her appointment time), the dentist simply removed them, handed them back to her, and told her to speak to reception. No guidance was given, and her concerns were not addressed. This experience has had a serious impact on her wellbeing. She missed work repeatedly for appointments that achieved nothing, resulting in lost income. For over eight weeks she could not eat normal food and had to rely on soft meals. Over Christmas she felt embarrassed and avoided family gatherings because she was self-conscious about her mouth. Dentures should not take this long to complete as other dentist have stated houdl be no more than 6 weeks, and they certainly should not require adhesive simply to stay in place if correctly done. We are extremely disappointed with the lack of care, communication, and accountability shown. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend this practice. Ridiculous service!!

Dr Solani was brilliant! spent his time on my filling and it turned out perfect. he was very kind and understanding. monica was also great help with handling previous issues. unfortunately it seems some of the doctors are very careless

Am a really nervous patient and I can highly recommend the team at The Smile Studios. Very smooth onboarding as a new patient and was then seen by Dr Solai, who explained things very clearly before and after my dental checkup. The Reception team are super friendly and laid my concerns / anxiety to rest as well. Big shout out to Monica 🙂 I’m committed to attending more regularly. I think my faith has been restored! Now onto the next appointment with the hygienist. 😬
