I am dedicating this International Women’s Day to the 2 lovely receptionists at my local dentist Barbara and Kerry! For an issue completely out of my control, I was forced to visit my dentist twice every week, for the last 3 weeks!! The levels of nerve & tooth pain I’ve endured recently has been quite frankly soul destroying!!! So as you can imagine, I became quite familiar with the practice receptionists who have seen me at my worse, in pain, heightened emotions, anxiety ridden and fed up. Despite feeling like climbing the walls from pain, these women always managed to put a smile on my face… they treated me with kindness, patience, empathy and warmth! They reassured me at every moment, went way above their remit to make sure I felt comfortable, recovered and informed. I received random check in calls to make sure my dental procedures and healing was going well! This is not part of the job description, this is just what happens when you meet nice humans. The world is a crazy place right now and life events can make you question the quality of humanity. Have faith… there are still really nice humans sharing the very same spaces with you, let them in!

I recently visited the My Dentist Plaistow branch for my son’s tooth extraction, and I am extremely satisfied with the overall experience. The staff were very cooperative, courteous, and highly professional throughout our visit. The entire procedure was carried out smoothly and with great care. I would like to extend my special thanks to Dr. Saira and nurse, Heley. Both were exceptionally kind, reassuring, and professional, which made the experience very comfortable for my son and for us as parents. The standard of care provided was excellent, and I am truly impressed with their professionalism and dedication. I would strongly recommend My Dentist to anyone seeking high-quality dental care.

I would like to share my positive experience following my recent dental appointment with Dr Jaward Choudhury, and also acknowledge the support provided by the reception team. Dr Choudhury is a very attentive and polite dentist who takes genuine care in how he treats his patients. He explains procedures in a clear and reassuring manner, answers questions patiently, and makes every effort to ensure you feel at ease throughout the visit. His calm approach inspires confidence and makes the overall experience far more comfortable. I would also like to mention the reception staff, who are consistently courteous and well organised. The ladies on reception clearly think about their patients — they make follow-up calls ahead of appointments to confirm attendance and ensure everything is in place prior to the visit, which is both helpful and reassuring. Appointments run smoothly, communication is clear, and you feel respected from the moment you walk in. Overall, the practice reflects a professional, well-managed, and patient-focused environment.
