I had my teeth-cleaning appointment with Azba today and she was fantastic. She gave me really helpful advice on how to keep my braces clean and made the whole experience comfortable. I’ve been coming to Malmin Orthodontic for over a year now, and their professionalism and quality of care are always outstanding. Highly recommend!

Not very impressed with the first ever appointment of my child. We saw two dentists and neither of them had the courtesy to say hello to my child to make him feel at ease. Also they appeared to be rushing through the appointment. Hopefully the experience will change, come our next appointment.

I’m not sure if it’s normal practice at this clinic to demand patients leave 5-star reviews, but that’s the impression I’ve been getting. I did leave a review a while back about our early experience with the management and the service when my children first started treatment, but I removed it last year when I updated my Google account. At my daughter’s appointment today, she was told her treatment was complete and that she could have her braces removed. She was given all the usual information about retainers, and everything seemed fine. However, my husband and daughter were then encouraged to leave a 5-star review on the spot, my husband did say he’ll do that once he gets home but was told it would be better if he does it there and then. As my husband doesn’t have a Google account, he was then told they could do it from home instead. As they were about to leave, my daughter was called back upstairs and shown a screen with her profile. On it were notes saying that her “mum left a bad review about management and reception” etc. She was then asked to have me remove it. She’s only 15, and she came home feeling really uncomfortable about the whole thing. I’m genuinely concerned that the level of care or treatment might be linked to whether families leave positive reviews. Reading other reviews, I can see that many patients have had similar experiences, which makes this even more worrying. Reviews are meant to reflect real experiences, good or bad, and patients should feel able to be honest. At no point did Malmin contact me directly about the concerns I raised or try to discuss them with me. If treatment decisions are being influenced by reviews, that would be a serious issue. If I have any reason to think my children’s care has been affected, I will take this further with the CQC and GDC. Malmin, you’re welcome to contact me directly about any concerns regarding my review. I would much prefer that these conversations happen with me rather than being brought up with children during their appointments.

I had my teeth clean done by Azba in November, she was amazing in listening to concerns and was patient while giving me time to endure the discomfort during cleaning around my swollen gum. I was very happy with her work and planning to go back in 3 months time. The clinic is clean and staff seems to be helpful in answering queries. I have a plan for invisaligners, and Devoli, the manager, took much time to explain the possible journeys that i might consider before the treatment, this was really helpful. I am planning to go back for a dental checkup soon before the treatment. I am not sure yet about how the invisaligners treatment would be, but definitely recommend for the hygiene.

I just finished my braces treatment, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, the entire team at Malmin was professional, kind, and genuinely cared about my progress. Every appointment was smooth and on time, and they always took the time to explain each step and answer my questions. My smile looks amazing now — better than I ever imagined! I’m so grateful for the excellent care I received and would highly recommend Malmin orthodontist to anyone considering orthodontic treatment.
