It’s the day after what was going to be an intensive surgery. After review the honest surgeon Daniel found a less intrusive & less expensive way to do things. His honesty, professionalism and kindness was second to none. Many years of coming here is a testimony of the incredible practice Dr. Stephan Van Vuuren has created. Neuza was the first to see me! A very kind woman, professional & so comforting! Ewa, who I always love to see was her amazing self. I’m a very happy patient & will be returning when need to with a feeling of comfort & professionalism. Thank you Stephan, Daniel, Ewa and Neuza! — feeling happy at Islington Green.

Attended IGDP seeking a second opinion after another dentist seemingly misdiagnosed me. I arrived with extreme pain and was met with the loveliest of people. From the receptionist to nurses and dentist, everyone was so kind and caring. Within a period of about five minutes, Rory had assessed the problem and we had a plan in place. He dealt with the pain and I went back two weeks later for a root canal procedure. The entire staff made a pretty horrendous procedure easy. Rory is a genius and I cannot recommend him enough. He’s really knowledgeable and it’s clear he’s constantly learning meaning his practice is evolving and on a continuous uphill trajectory! I can’t say it enough — not just the dentist — the dental nurse and receptionist were also amazing making you feel seen and heard and safe! Massive thanks to all.

I used to feel so unhappy and insecure about my wonky teeth. Smiling never felt natural, and I always tried to hide them. Choosing Chris as my dentist was truly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the very first appointment, his professionalism, warmth, and genuine kindness made me feel completely at ease. Chris has exceptional customer skills and explained every step with so much patience and clarity. Throughout the entire process, he was delicate, careful, and always attentive to how I was feeling. And the results… incredible. In just 8 months with braces, he transformed my smile into something I’m genuinely proud of. I’m now happier and more confident than ever. Talking about a long overdue review, I had some dental works done back in June 2025 and I just realised I haven’t done a review on Dr. CHRISTOPHER JOHN ESPINEIRA PUMILIA at this clinic and here it is. I have been a patient at the Islington Green Dental practice for over 15 years, all the dentists I have seen (total of 3) plus all the supporting staffs are always extremely professional and caring. Trust me, no one hates seeing a dentist more than me but everyone at the clinic is so friendly and helpful, my last visit with Dr. CHRISTOPHER JOHN ESPINEIRA PUMILIA was nothing but success, he helped me to remove 3 fillings with mercury which I had for many years and replaced with more advanced materials. I am so happy with the results and Dr. Chris was so patient and gentle during the procedure. If you are looking for a professional and experienced dentist, I think you will be happy with this clinic.

I've recently had an implant fitted and can't praise Chris and Aina enough. The process was painless and very straightforward from start to finish. I wish I'd had it done earlier. The tooth is a perfect fit and the colour is perfect. A great job!
