NHS dental care at Novocare has been very good, no complaints about the service and reception team are very helpful and friendly. However the premises needs serious investment and updating. Waiting room is harshly bare, uncomfortable and lifeless, no wall art, no window coverings, just chairs and a couple of plants. Treatment rooms are missing key comforts like hooks for coats and bags, haven’t been decorated for years clearly, scuffed skirting boards, old doors and carpets, everything needs updating, even some posters would help. TVs in treatment rooms are there but are never turned on, again, missed opportunity to make the patient comfortable during appointment. No option to buy dental products at reception either which is a missed opportunity I believe.

The person who called me to change the appointment was very rude and had a dont care attitude. Even asking for closer dates since they cancelled it via the doctor she was not happy to accommodate or listen to my emergency. She just kept saying its not possible and forced me on another date. If my tooth does not survive whose to blame ? If the doctor has an emergency issue and could not treat me on the day of the appointment there should have been some alternative provided with another doctor or make arrangements rather than telling me to take my refund and go to another private clinic to do payments and checkups all over again . It does not go through her pay packet so why would she care at all!

Absolutely brilliant dentist, I always get lots of information and advice every appointment. Just had a filling and felt in very good hands and thoroughly looked after. The receptionists are also very efficient and organised and they even recognise my voice on the phone. Highly recommended 👌
