My mother has a filling that has come loose, which we believe might need a crown to fix. The head dentist, being a friendly gentleman and a genuine professional, gave my mother a thorough examination, before suggesting a much cheaper option to repair the filling instead. Mr Blankendaal explained the specifics of her condition in detail, showing why crowning might not be the best solution at this stage and why a simple filling will suffice for her case. Although my family was quite prepared to part with £800 or more (1 crown + 1 filling, which should be the lowest I found in the region) for this appointment, we end up only paying £80 for the filling. I want to emphasise my appreciation for the dentist’s honesty, as other clinics would just happily go along with the crowning request and charged us with the considerably more expensive outcome. While the head dentist here will perform exactly what the patient needed, to an exceptional level tagged with an extremely reasonable price. My father joked that he’s beginning to worry we would be hard pressed to find a dentist that is as professional and ethical as the head dentist at Colegrove, if we wish to move house to another part of the country in future. Really a cheerful experience every time we visit the dentist.

This dental surgery were able to help me when my regular dentist let me down. The staff member who answered the telephone when I initially called was excellent, had a friendly way about her and was able to book an appointment for me that was a week or so after the call which was fine for me. When I arrived at the surgery the staff were helpful and I was seen promptly. The dentist was absolutely superb. Again he was friendly and explained what treatment I needed clearly and I had a filling carried out and a clean. The price for the work was fair. The quality of his dental work was excellent as well and he was clearly a man with a lifetime of experience of performing quality dental work. After the clean and the filling my mouth actually felt lighter and my gums felt much more comfortable. Without exaggeration I really did feel better after the treatment! Amazing what a difference good dental treatment can make to your overall sense of well-being! The atmosphere in the surgery is very calm and peaceful too. If you need a good dentist and friendly, helpful staff then I would recommend this dental surgery without any hesitation whatsoever and I'm really grateful for what they did for me.

I cracked my tooth and was quite stressed about it but the receptionists were lovely and the surgery found me the quickest appointment they could. Is my first ever filling so I didn't know what to expect, but the dentist explained everything really clearly. The whole process was pretty painless and speedy; the filling feels all right and you basically can't tell it happened. Honestly I couldn't recommend them enough!
