I attended the appointment at Harrow on the Hill surgery expecting to proceed with teeth whitening. However , Dr Ahmed Hussain was refreshingly honest and advised that whitening was unnecessary, as my teeth were already in great condition. This candour was genuinely appreciated and immediately set a tone of trust. He conducted a thorough and detailed consultation, including X-rays and photographs, and took the time to explain my dental chart clearly and patiently. His manner was warm, professional, and reassuring, and it was clear that he places genuine emphasis on patient care rather than unnecessary treatment. Dr Ahmed Hussain is highly skilled, attentive, and made the entire experience comfortable from start to finish. I was extremely impressed with the quality of care and would highly recommend him.

I can’t recommend Dr Ahmed enough. After several disappointing experiences with other dentists, I was told my front tooth needed to be extracted, which was really upsetting. Dr Ahmed took the time to listen and suggested a CT scan and a referral to an endodontist for a second opinion instead of rushing into extraction. Because of this, my tooth was saved, and I’m so grateful for his honest and thorough approach. I also completed Invisalign treatment with him and absolutely love the transformation — I feel so much more confident with my smile. As a medical doctor, I’m very selective about who I trust, and Dr Ahmed is the only dentist I trust with my dental treatments. He’s extremely knowledgeable, incredibly gentle, and always treats you with kindness and respect. An outstanding dentist — I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thank you, Dr Ahmed!

This was my first time at Harrow On The Hill Dental & Facial Aesthetics, where I completed my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Ahmed Hussain, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
He is a very professional, calm, and knowledgeable dentist whose expertise I truly trust, as well as the quality of care he provides throughout the process. He listened attentively to my concerns, explained every stage of the treatment clearly, and ensured I was fully informed at every step. After completing Invisalign, I also had teeth whitening and a chipped tooth repaired with edge bonding. Both treatments were carried out with great attention to detail, and care and natural results.

The final outcome has made me feel so much more confident in my smile, and I am beyond happy with how my teeth look now. I would highly recommend Dr. Ahmed Hussain to my friends and family who are seeking a skilled and trustworthy professional who genuinely cares about his patients and provides high-quality Invisalign treatment. Also, want to add I had a hygienist appointment at this practice as well. She was very knowledgeable and thorough, offering helpful advice on oral care while providing excellent cleaning for my teeth. Highly recommend her too.

I can’t recommend Dr Zainab at Harrow on the Hill highly enough. From the very first consultation, she took the time to really listen and carefully prescribe the right treatment plan, specifically designed for me and my face. The work she’s done is absolutely incredible — so natural, beautifully balanced, and beyond what I hoped for. Her attention to detail, skill, and professionalism truly show in the results. I can honestly say it’s paying off, not just in how I look but in how confident I feel. The boost in my confidence has been incredible 💯 and I feel like the best version of myself thanks to her expertise and care. She also has a wonderful reception team — Anca in particular was so welcoming, kind, and helpful, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable from start to finish.

I had a treatment for fine lines around my eyes with Dr. Sethi at this clinic in May. I am posting this review now only after waiting to see if the effects would wear off, which took a few months. Based on the clinic’s strong online reputation and awards, I expected a high standard of care. My experience was deeply disappointing and caused lasting effects. During the consultation, I said I wanted tear trough filler. I was apprehensive of having Botox and expressed a clear concern to Dr. Sethi about muscle weakness and a preference to avoid a "frozen" look. She dismissed this, saying, "it’s just a small amount." No detailed discussion of risks, facial anatomy, or smile dynamics took place. The treatment I received was Botox under my eyes, known as "jelly roll," which was briefly told to me at the time, and "crow's feet" which she didn’t mention at the time but stated in email correspondence when the complaint was made. This treatment left me with a complete loss of natural expression and gave me a “joker/sinister smile”. After researching I found many people reported this issue from jelly roll Botox and many doctors warning against this treatment. My smile did not reach my eyes—a fundamental aesthetic principle known as preserving the "Duchenne smile." A second opinion from an independent practitioner confirmed I was over-treated for my minimal fine lines, with the areas injected often being contraindicated together due to this exact risk. The complaint process was revealing. The clinic owner, Dr. Zainab, responded not with an immediate refund or accountability, but by suggesting I return for appointments under her "watchful eye" for "support." After my own research showed how vital the "Duchenne smile" is, I was alarmed to find Dr. Zainab was not familiar with the term when I mentioned it. As a trainer and clinic owner, this was a significant red flag. Ultimately, after the clinic offered a refund only if I signed a liability waiver, I had to seek a chargeback through my bank, which was successful after I provided evidence including emails and before-and-after photos. My takeaways for others: 1. A doctor's title or a clinic's awards are not guarantees of skill or ethics. 2. Dismissive responses to patient concerns ("it's just a small amount") are a major warning sign. 3. Beware of clinics that respond to complaints with offers of more treatment instead of taking accountability. 4. Some practitioners prioritise marketing and reputation over genuine patient care and expertise. My goal is to ensure others can make a more informed decision. This experience has been a lesson in how "hyped" reputations can mask a troubling reality.
