I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Happy Smiles following treatment with DR ROSE I attended the practice to have three fillings completed. Before the procedure began, I clearly explained that I wanted numbing cream applied before receiving the anaesthetic injections. Although this was acknowledged, the cream was only applied to one side DR ROSE was about to proceed with the injection on the other side without numbing cream, despite my repeated requests. This immediately made me feel uncomfortable and unheard. During the procedure, I was not talked through what was happening. When I asked questions to better understand the treatment, DR ROSE responded in a dismissive and unprofessional manner, including saying, “If you were a dentist, you would understand.” As a patient, I have the right to be informed about my treatment, and I felt this standard of care was not met. Following the appointment, I experienced severe and abnormal pain. I returned to the practice for further assessment, where I was informed that the filling was overhanging and had been done incorrectly, requiring it to be redone. This explained the extreme discomfort I had been experiencing. When I attempted to follow up with DR ROSE, she avoided taking responsibility and stated that she did not want to see me again. She then proceeded to say “The filling could have been done by someone more professional,” which was extremely concerning given that she was the clinician who carried out the work. This response left me shocked and further undermined my confidence in the care I received if she was not a professional dentist she should of never touched my teeth This situation has caused me unnecessary pain, stress, and additional appointments to correct the issue. I expected a far higher standard of professionalism, communication, and clinical care. I hope this matter is taken seriously and appropriately addressed to prevent other patients from experiencing similar distress by DR ROSE Overall, this experience caused significant discomfort and distress. I expected a much higher standard of care and professionalism

I highly recommend Dr. Rose. She’s warm, gentle, and truly cares about her patients. Every visit feels comfortable and stress-free, and the quality of her work is excellent. I’m really grateful to have found such a wonderful dentist!

He has an amazing ability to make you feel at ease, no matter the treatment. Dr. Ikmet takes the time to explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand, which really helps ease any anxiety. His patience and thoroughness show that he genuinely wants the best for his patients. You can tell he puts his heart into his work, and it makes such a difference!
