My second visit here. Always a pleasant welcome from the receptionist. Yasmeen was very attentive and explained everything thoroughly on my first visit. Today I saw Patrycja, I was slightly nervous as my teeth are very sensitive, she took great care asking me if I was ok throughout. Pleasantly surprised I could not feel a thing. Plus there is ample parking available. Highly recommend.

Professional service from Shivani Patel. I recently visited Bupa Dental Care in South Woodford for a check up and had to do a few fillers and a crown, all of my appointments were with Shivani Patel and I could not be happier! She is kind, gentle and a true professional! She also gives lots of advice and support during and after the appointment on how to take of your smile. I will be going back later on this year for another health check up and have already recommended her to several of my friends!

I am writing to explain the ongoing issues regarding my cancelled and rearranged root canal appointment. My original appointment on the 11th of December was cancelled successfully as my granddad had passed away. I called first thing that morning to cancel. The appointment was then rearranged for the 7th of January, which I was unfortunately unable to attend due to severe illness caused by acid reflux brought on by stress and grief. I was advised by the hospital not to proceed with dental treatment due to my condition and the acidic taste in my mouth. As the practice was closed, I left an out-of-hours message to cancel, which went through successfully, and I also received confirmation from the dentist that the appointment was cancelled and that I would be contacted to rearrange. After hearing nothing for almost two and a half weeks, I called on Friday the 30th of January and was told I was no longer an NHS patient, despite being on full-time Universal Credit. During this call I explained that I had cancelled correctly and had proof, and I was advised to email Woodford Bupa Dental with the evidence, although I was initially given the wrong email address. I have still not received a response. I followed this up on Tuesday the 3rd of February and was told “I don’t know” by the same receptionist, although she mentioned possibly booking me with another dentist, which I do not understand as I am apparently still an NHS patient with another practitioner but not with my regular dentist, Yasmine. I was promised a callback at 5:30pm, which did not happen. I later received a call at 6:00pm confirming my email had been received and that I would be contacted the following day, but no call came. I have been a patient at Bupa since the age of 7 and have always received excellent service until recently. Since dealing with the new receptionist, arranging this urgent appointment has been extremely difficult. I have explained that this is urgent due to ongoing pain, upcoming Ramadan in mid-February, and travel plans in March. I can no longer leave this root canal untreated and now feel I have no choice but to come in person to have this matter resolved and my appointment urgently arranged.
